Meet Our Recruitment Head - Campbell McKenzie

To each Potential New Member,  

Not too long ago, I was in your shoes, and I still remember the whirlwind of emotions that come with starting this exciting new chapter of life. Whether you’re feeling nervous about leaving home, excited about meeting new friends, or eager to run home on bid day, know that you’re not alone. Here at Kappa, we are thrilled that you’ve chosen to take the leap to participate in primary recruitment.

When I first stepped into Kappa during rounds, I immediately felt at home. The girls I spoke with were genuine, intentional, and confident. They embodied the qualities I look up to and hope to find in friends. Coming to Clemson from in-state, I hoped to find a chapter where I could meet girls from all over the country, and Kappa was the perfect place to do so. The friendships I’ve formed here have been truly life-changing—girls that support all of my wins, pick me up during all of my lows, and that I know will forever be in my corner. 

My greatest hope for each of you is to find a home at Clemson that helps you become the best version of yourself. Take the time to reflect on values that mean the most to you, and allow yourself to embrace opportunities that help you flourish. And of course, don’t forget to have fun!
