Campus Involvement
Some events that we participate in as a chapter include walking in the First Friday Parade and Building/Decorating a Homecoming Float in the annual Homecoming Float Build Contest on Bowman Field. Kappa also has an intramural team for almost every sport at Clemson, where we have the opportunity to compete against other organizations on campus.
It is an important core value of Kappa Kappa Gamma that our members are heavily involved across campus and within our surrounding communities. We are proud to have sisters involved in so many incredible groups all around campus. Some current clubs and organizations our members are involved in include:
- Clemson University Guide Association (CUGA): This Organization is responsible for showing prospective Clemson students around the campus, exhibiting Clemson’s core values, and being the part of the first impression many visitors have of the university. There are currently six Kappas serving as guides.
- Club Sports: These are teams that students have the opportunity to try out to make, and get to travel and play other schools around the region and country. We have members currently involved in the club Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, and Golf teams.
- Calhoun Honors College: We are proud to have a large percentage of our members representing our organization within the Honors College.
- Clemson Cheerleading: We love to see three of our members on the field cheering on our Tigers on game day!
- Chapman Leadership Scholars Program: Within the business school, two of our members participate in leadership development alongside their schoolwork.
- The Women's Network: We are proud to have Kappas serve positions as President, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Finance in Clemson women's Chapter of this national organization that empowers ambitious women to achieve their goals.
- Sales Innovation Program: We currently have many Kappas involved in Clemson's prestigious sale
- ROTC: Kappa is proud to have dedicated sisters balancing their academic lives with Clemson's ROTC program.
